Day 1
Welcome to New York! Meet your locally licensed guide at the baggage claim and board your luxury coach for transfers into Manhattan. Your guide will offer narration and stories on the way to your Times Square hotel.
Your escort will be with you every day and is a locally licensed NY City tour guide!
After dinner, enjoy magnificent views of the entire city from the 70th floor observation deck above Rockefeller Center at Top of the Rock. Welcome to New York!!
Day 2
Today’s motorcoach touring will take you through Midtown Manhattan: Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park, and much more will be seen.
At Grand Central Terminal, explore the country’s largest and busiest train terminal in the country, the fantastic architecture, and a really incredible Christmas market!
At Rockefeller Center, stop at Radio City Music Hall – the magnificent art deco theater, and largest in New York City. A backstage tour shines a light on just how they produce such a spectacular show 5 times a day, with live animals! And you’ll meet a Rockette!
Enjoy tea and treats on a moving Tea Room! This is a unique experience on a decorated double decker bus with live performance and narration. You will see some New York City landmarks such as the New York Public Library, Grand Central Terminal, Columbus Circle, Radio City Music Hall, and more while enjoying savory treats, one glass of champagne and tea service.
You will tour inside Central Park, to some of the most filmed and famous spots you know from movies, TV and books while riding in a horse drawn carriage in Central Park! And then, some shopping time at the Central Park Christmas Market. Local artisans and unique gifts!
After dinner, stroll over to Rock Center for an evening performance of the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.
Afterwards walk over to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree!
Day 3
Touring will bring you through SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown. At the World Trade Center your guide will walk you about to see the dramatic transformation of the area since 9/11. You’ll spend time at the moving National 9/11 Memorial & St. Paul’s Chapel.
Enjoy a wonderful walking Food Tour of Greenwich Village! There are many mom-and-pop stores and cafes dotting the quaint brownstone-lined winding streets of this historic neighborhood. You will not leave hungry!
After, take a stroll on the High Line – an urban park in the air!
After dinner, enjoy a Broadway show!
Day 4
At the hotel, meet the local guide who will assist you in exploring the Christmas shops and stores, and people watch (on foot)! The department store windows along Fifth Avenue take an entire year of planning to create holiday fantasies, and you’ll stroll down Fifth to explore some.
This afternoon, enjoy a Broadway Matinee.
Later this afternoon, meet your guide and coach to travel to Brooklyn! By itself Brooklyn would be the nation’s 4th largest city. It is home to nearly every nationality and has a very colorful history. Tonight, you will dine at a fun Italian restaurant in a very Italian neighborhood.
And then it’s on to Dyker Heights. To say this neighborhood is well known for its Christmas decorations is an understatement. It’s loaded with elegant and tacky decorations and is a must-see. It is best to walk through some of the streets with your guide, but some can stay on the coach and will still enjoy the spectacle.
Day 5
Your morning and early afternoon are free to explore on your own or do some Christmas shopping at one of the many major stores filled with sales for the holidays! Your guide will be available.
Enjoy your farewell dinner with a wonderful, impressive meal tonight!
After dinner you will enjoy the timeless hallmark of the holiday season – George Ballentine’s “The Nutcracker.” It’s a stunning production that can only happen at Lincoln Center. The popularity of this ballet during the holiday season is immense. A must-see holiday tradition!
Day 6
A ride in New York Harbor to see the wonderful skyline and up-close views of the Statue of Liberty is the ideal way to say farewell to NY City!
